I just wanted you to know that, especially for those of us that had the privilege of walking with you afterwards, we really feel that you made our trip to Rome better than it ever could have been.

I know you must meet a lot of people doing tours - I want to tell you that on every trip I’ve taken to Europe, I’ve met someone that really stands out. I was somewhat cynical when the tour was being discussed amongst our group - you lived in America - I’m sure you understand that we have an internal fear that everything is a scam. Unfortunately, Americans are naturally distrusting. You educated me on the tour in a way that really surprised me. We all felt that way. As a matter of fact I am right now typing a term paper on the nine scenes in the Sistine Chapel. However, I commented to Amy that what I really enjoyed was talking with you one-on-one after lunch as we walked around Rome. You are obviously very intelligent, and your ideas and thoughts on things we discussed really made me think. And for that, I definitely owe you a big thank you.
