Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

Upon booking online with Key Rome, by completing our Booking Page and Shopping Cart, when making reservation over the phone or by email, you are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, and are accepting them on behalf of all members of your party.

Prices:

All rates are quoted in Euro, are listed as per person and do not include entry fees.

Tour Modifications & Amendments:

Products offered by Key Rome are valid as per the dates and times communicated in our confirmation email. Key Rome reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any tour that you have booked with us, at any time, for any reason. Should a tour become unavailable on a given date, Key Rome will provide you with an alternate tour or date. Should you not be willing or able to accept such a change, Key Rome will refund, in full, the cost of the tour in question.

Key Rome does not charge a fee to amend or change the dates or times of an existing booking, as long as the request is received more than 7 days ahead of your confirmed tour date.

If you request a date/time change Key Rome will attempt to honor your request, however we cannot guarantee date/time change requests as all such requests and amendments are subject to availability.

For changes made to one or more tours or events less than 7 days from your original tour time, a single service fee of Euro 5 will be applied per person.

All requests for booking modification/amendments must be directed to Key Rome via email to tours@keyrome.com.

Payments, Refunds and Cancellations:

Key Rome uses PayPal for payments of its membership events and tours. The following cards are accepted:

Visa / Delta / Electron, Mastercard / Eurocard, PayPal Credit Card, PayPal Top Up Card, Switch/Maestro, Solo, American Express.
Debit cards (also known as echeque cards or bank cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.

If you have a PayPal account, you can also pay using your bank account.

You may also pay us in cash before your tour, but your place cannot be reserved without a full upfront payment. Payment is in Euros.

In order to be eligible for a refund, your written cancellations must be received by us in the form of an email at tours@keyrome.com no less than 4 days ahead of the tour in question.

All cancellations are subject to a single processing fee of Euro 5 per person (regardless of how many tours or events you are canceling). Key Rome is not responsible for any fees charged by your bank, credit card issuer, PayPal or other parties involved in the restitution of funds on our behalf.

No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 4 days of a tour or event.

No refunds are applicable if you choose to not continue with us once an event or tour has commenced.

Tour Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email for your booking. To join our tours, you or your group leader must present a printout of your email confirmation.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability:

Key Rome accepts no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and/or terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond our control. This is not limited to, but includes:

a) The closure of venues or monuments which Key Rome tours or events access, where and when the closure of that venue is out of the control of Key Rome or where Key Rome is not notified by the venue with ample time to notify its members or guests.

b) The inability of our tour or event to access certain monuments, areas or venues due to restrictions caused by excessive traffic, inclement weather, demonstrations and protests or due to a particular area or site being restored or undergoing construction or is covered or obstructed from public view.

Key Rome is not liable for delays, inconvenience, accidents, injuries or expenses of any kind resulting entirely, or in part, from the negligence of others or from causes beyond our control. Participants assume all risks of personal injury and aggravation of any medical condition related in any way to the activities of our tours and events.

Key Rome makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in our web site. Nevertheless, we cannot accept responsibility for omissions or errors it may contain.

If, involuntarily, we have used in our web site images or information covered by copyright, please communicate this to us citing the item and its URL, and we will remove any such item.

Our website contains links to other sites that are not under our control. Key Rome is not responsible or liable for any information that it does not directly provide.

Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights:

The content of www.keyrome.com, its name and logo are protected by international copyright laws. Images and text contained therein are the exclusive property of Key Rome. Any use of such materials without prior authorization of Key Rome is strictly prohibited

Key Rome grants a limited and not exclusive right of access to its website and to the materials contained within for non commercial and purely informative personal purposes.

Key Rome expressly prohibits the uploading onto its website by users of materials such as text, music, software, images and any other materials which constitute a violation of the intellectual property rights of third parties, except for when the user has obtained the necessary authorizations.

Applicable Law and Legal Court:

The terms and conditions of use will be sustained and interpreted by Italian law. Any controversy derived or connected to the execution of terms and conditions of use will be passed on to exclusive jurisdiction of the legal court of Rome.
